The Clinton-Massie Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Rudduck to fill the vacant board seat. Mr. Rudduck was selected from a pool of 11 applicants. After confirming each applicant's eligibility to serve in a board position, nine candidates were interviewed by the Board. After careful consideration, the Board unanimously selected Mr. Rudduck for the position.
A longtime Clinton-Massie resident, Mr. Rudduck previously served the district as both principal and superintendent. He brings decades of educational leadership and a deep understanding of the district and community to the role. The Board extends its sincere appreciation to all applicants for their willingness to serve and for their continued support of Clinton-Massie Local Schools.
In addition to this appointment, the Board has elected new leadership. Mike Gorman will serve as Board President, and Phil Harner will continue to serve as Vice President. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Clinton-Massie Board of Education will take place on June 30th at 6:30 p.m. in Middle School Room 533. A Board work session will be held prior to the meeting at 4:30 p.m. in the same location.

Congratulations to Emalyn Arnold! Her piece “Elephant in Bronze” was selected to be displayed in the prestigious Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition. Emi placed in the Top 250 out of 6,756 art entries statewide — an incredible achievement!

Highlights include 25% of the 1% earned income tax revenue being transferred to the permanent improvement fund, a 2% insurance premium increase for 2026, bus purchases each year moving forward, and curriculum purchases in 2026-27 and 2027-28. #MassieMoneyMonday

Class of 2037 has stepped up to drop some wisdom for the Class of 2025! You know, the usual advice....don't stand on cars, brush and floss, don't swim in ponds due to sharks, don't speed, avoid poisonous people, and be super duper kind!! They have some great advice!! #CLIMB

The Great Oaks-Clinton Massie FCCLA state competition proved to be an outstanding showcase of talent, dedication, and hard work for our students. With remarkable performances, Emma Johnson earned first place, Isaac Arnold secured second place, and Kenzley Gale, Emma Jones, Carly Hayes & Hailey McCormick achieved third place in their respective categories. Each received a medal and a trophy for recognition.
Adding to this success, three exceptional students (Isaac Arnold, Declan McCormick & Emma Johnson) have qualified to advance to the national competition, where they will represent our school and compete at an elite level in Orlando, Florida on 7-5-25 through 7-9-25. Their commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication have been truly inspiring, and I couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.
As they prepare for the next stage, we celebrate their achievements and commend them for their perseverance, dedication, teamwork, and passion. Their success stands as a testament to their hard work and the incredible support of our FCCLA community.
Great Oaks-Clinton Massie FCCLA earned Gold level "Go For The Red" chapter award. National Programs that were accomplished this year are: Career Connections, Family First, FACTS, Community Service, & Financial Fitness.
Congratulations to all of our competitors—we look forward to cheering on our national qualifiers as they take the next step in their FCCLA journey!

There will be a Board of Education meeting tonight at 6:30 pm in the STEAM Room in the Annex. Please use the Annex doors. Future planning discussions will begin and an updated Five Year Forecast will be approved. Treasurer Carrie Bir will be at 73 Grill from 5-6pm if you have questions!
